About the label

Different Beat puts out records by people who are not trying to sound like anyone else. Three acts so far, one a year, each pressed properly and packed by hand.

The label does not run a store of its own. Records are sold through Discogs, which handles the money and the shipping labels, and we handle the box.

Everything filmed for the screening room is hosted here rather than anywhere that puts an advertisement in front of it.
